What can Wild offer to keep Dumba. This is 23yo highly touted dman. I woudn't even take 2 1st not to take him. He could be part of future core of the Kinghts. |

Nice move by Pominville refusing to waive his NMC so the Wild could protect Staal. Did he honestly think that Vegas would select him if he was exposed? The Wild couldn't get more than a massage table for him in a trade at this point. |

My question is why wouldn't Fletcher have moved Dumba to Dallas for the #3 overall pick. They don't have a 1st to give to protect Dumba on the side. Unless they are giving their 2018 1st, then I just say wow. |

Vegas could have Manson - Dumba as their first pairing. Holy smokes, would never make a side deal for that. Unless you get 2 1sts maybe |

Dumba is not worth the 3rd OA. He puts up points but is bad at defense and why he is on the thrid pairing. |

I mostly agree. He has some work to do defensively, but he's still just 22 years old. He still has a lot of upside. But I do agree that he's probably not worth the 3rd overall pick.

1st I'd protect him over Brodin. They should have traded Brodin to B. |

He's not worth 3OA usually, but this year's draft is really weak and there's a big drop after 1-2. I don't think Gabe Vilardi is future no1 C so maybe Dumba+2nd could do it. |

Not only do you have to wonder what Minny would have to offer, but think about what other teams could offer Vegas to take him and trade with them? |

I think Vegas takes Staal ahead of Dumba. He is a #1C scoring 65 pts last year. |
